PEON; THE PEONIES DRESS
Inspired by the kebaya and qibao, this collection combines both cultural and contemporary elements for the 21st century woman. Boasting traditional silhouettes, adapted cultural motifs, old-world elegance and movement-focused fabrics, this line embodies functionality with an air of elegance reminiscent of yesteryear’s women.
The PEON dress was named after peonies, often associated with richness and peace in chinese mythology because of how they grow in clusters. The intricate laser cut motifs are inspired by peranakan tiles, and the faux wrap dress is figure flattering. PEON is designed with -ai.
